An Endomorph Guide to Muscle Building
An endomorph body type is characterized by a soft and round body and is generally short and stocky. This body type gains fat easily and has a slow metabolism rate, which is why it is hard to lose the fat that it has gained. But people with this body type have strong muscles, especially in the upper legs. This is the body type that is capable of gaining good muscle shape.
Those who fall under this category should consciously do a lot of physical activity, particularly cardio exercises, to burn off extra calories. This should be complemented by weight training and the right build muscle building nutrition. In fact, endomorphs should not starve themselves just because they are already fat. They should re-channel their cravings to protein-rich food instead.
An endomorph should be doing three to four cardio sessions in a week and two to three weight training sessions. The stocky build of the endomorph allows him to endure intense weight training programs, so it should be carefully designed to meet and maximize his needs for muscle growth.
